AirFox is based at Schaumburg Regional Airport, in Schaumburg Illinois. 

Every morning, pilot Kimberly, photographer Matt, and traffic anchor Sondra Solarte take off around 5:25 and are in the air throughout Good Day Chicago.

Sondra Solarte is the traffic anchor for Good Day Chicago - weekday mornings from 5:00am to 9:00am on Fox News Chicago.

 

Sondra is a Chicago native and a virtual walking encyclopedia regarding Chicago area streets and highways.

 

She joined Fox Chicago full time in August 2005 anchoring traffic on Good Day.
